29May Analytics and a Marketing Plan for Law.co.zw
Added analytics to www.law.co.zw and www.zimbabwefilm.com just now.
We are still to make noise about law.co.zw. Will do a press release for a June launch and plan a banner advertising campaign through some other Aripano Infinity sites; www.zimbojam.com, www.zimbablog.com, etc.
I’m also thinking of doing a mailing list of lawyers and sending them regular emails about updates [...]
29May Lights! Camera! ZimbabweFilm.com!
Many conversations ago, I had a talk with a talented young Zimbabwean filmmaker about a website she wanted to have put up. It was to be a site that celebrated film and filmmaking in Zimbabwe from 1980 to present day.
It was an exciting project for both of us. The main challenge would be- and was- [...]
28May Hard Slogging
Man, it’s been hard slogging the last few weeks. Yes, I’m in a place with a LOT of bandwidth for a tinsy insy winsy fraction of what it would cost back home for much less bandwidth but you know when you are doing a lot of work- or think you are- but nothing seems to [...]
25May Welcome to HarvestSMS
A few months ago an interesting technology venture began in Harare. The idea was simple, to offer Zimbabweans wherever they are in the world an SMS gateway, that’s both cheap and fast, focussing on bulk sms services.
Today the main HarvestSMS website went up. It took me three days to develop, using Wordpress.
19May The Jam Shop is Coming

Unforseen transaction costs, payment issues, challenges with neatly integrating everything into the rest of the site, etc- but it will work out sooner or later. You can bet your eyeballs on that.
05Apr Yay for Law & Justice Zimbabwe!
Lomido and I started talking about this project in 2004. We agreed that it wasn’t right that the only place where you could readily get information on Zimbabwean High Court and Supreme Court Judgements was a South African organisation (Keep it in the family!). So we started working on a website that would have all [...]

21Oct As you can see it’s up
Hey, the blog is now up. If you’re reading this it means it’s up right? But wait a minute you’re asking, if it’s only up now how come, it seems like it’s been up for much longer?
It’s a long tale. Welcome to the Aripano Infinity story, and yes, that’s the logo we have been unveiling [...]
