05Oct Want a rush on your blog?
I know I’ve told you guys about a span of services that are supposed to increase traffic to your website and I hope they have helped. I’ve received various levels of success with all of them and I suppose I should do an analysis of all of them one day so that you can see what works best.
Another thing though is implementation. Each one of these services that I recommend will give different results to different people and different blogs/websites depending on how it’s implemented, how intense the follow through is and what supporting activities are carried out in conjunction with the use of the respective service. All that will need to be explained as well I know. Just not now- pleeeeeaaasse :). One day, soon…
Here’s another one. BlogRush.com.This is a different take on blog aggregation. Rather than show the headlines from different websites on one site, show them on every site on the network!
You sign up and get code for a widget that you put on your site. This widget will pull the headlines from posts on other blogs that are signed up to the service. Similarly headlines from posts on your website will appear on other websites on the BlogRush network opening up your site to a potential RRRUUUSSSHHHHHH of new traffic- hence the name.
You can then log in to BlogRush.com periodically and see how much traffic has been driven to your site via their netowrk and vice-versa.
Look out for the BlogRush widget on Zimbablog (added today) and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
