Do you ever get the nagging feeling that the Web is so much bigger than you realise and you are missing out on many great websites? Or that there are some websites out there somewhere that can be the solution to some of the problems you are facing?
Enter StumbleUpon and your fears are now dispellable! This great service enables you to enter a list of interests and then click on a button and the site will find a random website that is in line wth your list.
Any time you want to find a new site click on the stumble button (you can download a toolbar for your browser so that you are always a click away from a great stumble!) and a new site is displayed. I joined just today and already I’ve found some real GEMS this way.
It reminds me of a nifty little website that existed before 2003 called eTour. I think they were purchased by AskJeeves and then they disappeared. I’m a bit pressed for time right now so I won’t look them up, but do check for etour.com and see if the predecessor to StumbleUpon still lives.
